John Lim To Head Asian Pacific American Legal Center
| February 28, 2009 - Lim Ruger managing partner John Lim has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center. Lim has served on the board for over 15 years. Lim Ruger is a strong supporter of the noted civil rights organization. | ||

John Lim stated, "I am honored to follow these esteemed colleagues and friends as APALC’s next Board Chair. In these distressed economic times, the work of APALC is more critical than ever. Our vulnerable and struggling communities need our legal services and advocacy to face the challenges of foreclosures, layoffs, and the stresses caused by the economic crisis. Though the Asian Pacific American community is very diverse and its needs vary from one group to the next, I believe a single, strong, united Asian Pacific American voice resounds louder than separate ones. APALC has proven to be, and will continue to be, a voice for these needs." | |
