With the view that a more diverse Bar will lead to a more just and equitable society, the LRK Foundation was established by the partners of Lim, Ruger & Kim, LLP to assist the legal education of minority students. The LRK Foundation works through bar associations to grant scholarships to law students of many ethnicities and minority communities.

Since 2006, the LRK Foundation has donated over $30,000 to promising law students chosen by:

• Japanese American Bar Association
• Korean American Bar Association
• John Langston Bar Association
• Mexican American Bar Foundation
• National Asian Pacific American Bar Association
• Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association
