Peter Rho is a senior counsel in the transactions group. He advises U.S. and international clients on a broad range of transactional matters, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and corporate finance. He serves as primary outside counsel to companies and entrepreneurs in various sectors, including technology, media, entertainment, real estate and general commercial.

Mr. Rho’s legal advice is informed by a deep knowledge of business management. He has an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and, before devoting himself to the practice of law, served as a consultant on business management strategies to clients throughout the world.

Examples of recent transactions that Mr. Rho has handled include:

• Representation of a publicly traded Korean entertainment company in connection with its entry into the U.S. market.
• Representation of a logistics company with worldwide operations in connection with the restructuring and reorganization of subsidiaries located throughout the United States.
• Assisting a publicly traded healthcare company with a registered direct securities offering.
• Representation of a Korean financial institution in its sale of distressed assets to a U.S. investment bank and a consortium of international investors.
• Representation of a major Korean agricultural cooperative in connection with its joint venture with one of France’s largest agricultural cooperatives to establish and manage an investment trust management company.
