Phillip Cha is a Senior Counsel in the litigation group. Mr. Cha has extensive experience representing management in labor and employment litigation matters involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation and wage-and-hour claims, including single-plaintiff litigation and complex class actions. He has practiced before the state and federal courts of California, arbitration panels, and various government agencies, including the California Labor Commissioner, California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and U.S. Department of Labor.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Cha also provides human resources advice and counseling to employers regarding a broad range of personnel-related issues, including discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, payroll practices, wage-and-hour compliance, harassment training and investigations, personnel policies, and employee handbooks.

Mr. Cha has represented employers of all sizes in a wide variety of industries, including retail, manufacturing, healthcare/pharmaceuticals, financial services, transportation, energy, and food service/hospitality.
