OverviewPRACTICE AREAS: Nina Park is an associate in the litigation group, where her practice is focused on business and commercial litigation. Ms. Park has significant experience with international law-based litigation brought under the Alien Tort Statute. Her practice spans both federal and state courts. In addition, Ms. Park served as judicial law extern for the Honorable Suzanne H. Segal of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Ms. Park served as a Deputy City Attorney for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office where she was lead prosecutor in criminal jury trials that went to verdict. Ms. Park also brought civil enforcement actions against the health care providers and local hospitals involving violations of the unfair competition and false advertising laws. While at UCLA School of Law, Ms. Park served as Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Pacific American Law Journal, and coordinated the World Conference on Japanese Military Sexual Slavery, a three-day global conference aimed to raise awareness of contemporary issues in sex trafficking and gender-based sexual violence during armed conflicts as well as to strategize for an official apology and reparations for the survivors.
