OverviewPRACTICE AREAS: Marc Manason is a partner in the transactions group. He represents developers, investors, public agencies, landlords and tenants in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, entitlements, construction, leasing and financing. Mr. Manason has handled development and redevelopment transactions involving shopping centers, office buildings, hotels, industrial and warehouse complexes, manufacturing facilities, multifamily and affordable housing projects, among others. The development projects on which Mr. Manason has worked include a one million square foot regional mall in Moreno Valley known as Moreno Valley Mall, a 450,000 sq. ft. commercial center in Lynwood known as Plaza Mexico, and a convention center hotel in San Jose, each of which received millions of dollars of assistance from redevelopment agencies. He also represents clients in a wide range of corporate matters. Mr. Manason has spoken at numerous seminars on redevelopment and affordable housing issues. He has authored "Reason and Finality in Subsequent Environmental Review," which appeared in Los Angeles Lawyer in 1997, and "Legal and Policy Justifications for Common Provisions in Redevelopment Agreements," which appeared in California Land Use Law and Policy Reporter in 1992.
