OverviewPRACTICE AREAS: John L. Jones II is an associate in the litigation group, where he devotes most of his practice to the areas of business litigation and bankruptcy. As part of his practice, John has represented debtors, creditors, and bankruptcy trustees in workouts, reorganizations, and liquidations. Mr. Jones served as counsel to the chapter 11 trustee for Hawaiian Airlines, Inc. in the successful reorganization of Hawaii’s flagship airline. Mr. Jones also served as counsel to the chapter 7 trustee for Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP—one of the largest law firm collapses in U.S. history. Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Jones worked on Wall Street as part of a team advising companies in financial distress. Before attending law school, Mr. Jones worked as a graduate research assistant at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in its Space and Atmospheric Sciences Group. Education
